At 59, I Switched Back To Being A “Hybrid Athlete”

A “Hybrid Athlete” is an athlete that’s has muscular strength and endurance, they train in both disciplines, basically they perform as good as they look.

About 6 weeks ago I switched from being a “bodybuilder” back into being a “hybrid athlete”.

Here’s a little story of my lifetime fitness journey🏃‍♀️………

👉When I was 30, that’s when I got into fitness, I was a “hybrid athlete”. Heavy into strength training, endurance and competed in Martial Arts.

👉At 40 I was a figure competitor, at 45 a bodybuilder competitor

👉When I turn 50 I went into Competitive Power Lifting and competed for NASA and U.S. Powerlifting Association.

👉At 52 I blessed to take home the Gold Medal 🏆🏅at the 2016 Arizona Senior Olympics Powerlifting Competition.

👉At 53 I went back into bodybuilding.

👉Now at 59 I’m going back to my original love, back into “Hybrid Training” becoming a hybrid athlete once again🙌🏃‍♀️💪💯.

A “hybrid athlete” is someone who not only strength trains in the gym with weights, but they also trains for endurance sports, their performance is equally as strong as their muscular physique.

Basically, having a body that “performs” as well as it “looks”💯🙌💪🏃‍♀️

It’s an amazing way to train, it will make you leaner and stronger, is super fun because everyday of training is different, it’s time efficient, burns a grip load of calorie and increases our longevity.  If you would like to learn more about this type of training, feel free to email me anytime.  Feel free to check out the video below on what a “Hybrid Athlete” is.
