And that’s how it happened
I woke up one day and stopped comparing myself to other women on the net
I stopped beating myself up every morning for the calories I ate the night before
I stopped thinking I needed to be leaner and leaner
I stopped depriving my body of the nutrients it needed to thrive
I stopped wishing I had a different body and started loving my own
I stopped defining myself by my bodyfat percentage
I stopped dieting
And so I changed
I went back to what I loved
I trained for the pure enjoyment of lifting
I trained to build strength not to burn calories
I trained because it felt good to train, not because I desperately wanted to change my body
I started fueling my body with good food, whole foods, foods that build strength
I ate, I trained
I grew, I transformed, I evolved, mentally and physically
And you know what, I look and feel better than I ever have.
Sometimes going on a health journey can turn toxic.
Train because you love your body, not because you hate it
Become the very best version of you, the healthy version of you
You will look but most importantly feel so much better And you’ll go back to having a blast.
Your health journey should be a fun experience, not a negative one
