Carb Depletion

😀OK my beautiful friends, here is an update.
I did not go flat enough( you have to go flat to be able to fill up) so I have to do ANOTHER full day of carb depletion. No carbs until 6:00 a.m. tomorrow morning, that has me on 84 hours without carbs, just straight protein and a 1 1/2 gallons of water a day.
Tomorrow morning I start carb loading at 6 am increasing the carbs by 50% everyday:
👉Thursday 4/15, carb load 100 grams 👉 Friday, 4/16 carb load 150 grams 👉Saturday 4/17, carb load 200 grams Then on Sunday 4/18 a full body check after I pump up.
👉If I don’t spill over then I am on a 3 day carb depletion and a 3 day carb load
👉If I spill over, then I have enough time to correct it by doing excessive cardio. Then I should know if I need to do a 2 or 3 day “carb” load before my show.
But we know that it takes me 3 days on a full carb depletion to go flat so…… DAY 6 before my show, on 4/25 I need to do ANOTHER 3 day FULL carb depletion, then load for 2 or 3 days before my show, then drop my water then showtime. It’s all science and timing.
You can ruin a whole show that last week, months of preparation and hard work by NOT peaking at the exact right time.
Do I need to go through all of this twice, 2 times of a “3 day full carb depletion”? No I could wing it and hope for the best BUT that’s not me, I absolutely want to do this because I want to be the best that I can be. I want to peak at the exact right time and I will not know this if I don’t experiment on myself. I am putting this work and sacrifice in because I want to be the best that I can be, no matter how hard it gets. That’s what champions are made of🤩 they NEVER take the easy road, Champions don’t live on that street!
And once I get this figured out I will have it down by the time I go to Nationals in July for my attempt at earning my Pro Card.
Being the best that you can be takes a lot of discipline and a lot of sacrifice but that’s what makes it so incredibly great!🤩 And so rewarding.
So no carbs again today and I just finished a superheavy shoulder workout, then trained abs and calves 💪
I’m hanging in there🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Again, champion’s NEVER take the easy road, they don’t live on that street 👍if you’re on that street you need to MOVE and go after what you want with every ounce of energy that you’ve got😀
Side note: I have a very metallic taste in my mouth which means my body is burning🔥bodyfat like crazy, the little bit that I have left. If, however, my mouth starts to taste like ammonia then that means it’s going catabolic and eating muscle, which is not what I want. Right now it’s perfect, I’m keeping a close watch on that also.👍
